Day-1 (Yangon)
Arrive at Yangon Airport. Welcome by our tour guide and transfer
to hotel. Special evening visit to world famous Shwedagon Pagoda.

Day-2 (Yangon-Bagan)
(B) Early morning transfer to Yangon Airport, fly to Bagan.
Sightseeing of Bagan begins with visit to Nyaung Oo Market;
Shwezigon Pagoda, the prototype of later Myanmar stupas; Kyansitta
Umin, a tunnel with an interesting feature of mural paintings;
Wetkyi-Inn-Gubyaukkyi, a temple with fine mural paintings of Jataka
Scenes; Htilominlo Temple, noted for its plaster carvings.
(L) Afternoon visit to Archaeological Museum; Ananda Temple, an
Architectural Masterpiece resembling a Greek Cross; Ananda Okkyaung,
a brick monastery with mural paintings of 18th century; lacquerware
industry; Manuha Temple with gigantic Buddha images, a captive
king's impression of life in prison and sunset view of Bagan.
(D) Overnight in Bagan. |
Mandalay Downtown |
Day-3 (Bagan-Mandalay)
(B) Morning transfer to Nyaung Oo Airport, fly to Mandalay.
Visit to the venerated Mahamuni Pagoda, proceed to Amarapura, 11km
south of Mandalay, highlighting Maha Gandharyone Monastery; 1.2km
long U Bein wooden bridge. On the way back to Mandalay, visit to
Shwe Inbin Monastery, and excellent specimen of wood carving.
(L) Afternoon visit to silk weaving, gold leaf making and Mandalay
Hill, a vantage point for panoramic view of city.

Day-4 (Mandalay-Yangon)
(B) Morning visit to Mandalay Royal Palace, Shwe Nan Daw (Golden
Palace) Monastery, noted for its exquisite wood carvings; Kuthodaw
Pagoda, known as the world Biggest Book for its 729 marble slabs of
Buddhist scriptures.
(L) Afternoon transfer to airport, fly to Yangon.
Arrive at Yangon Airport and transfer to hotel.
(D) Overnight in Yangon. |

Day-5 (Yangon)
Morning visit to the ancient capital Bago, 80km North-east of
Yangon.
Tour highlights; Shwemawdaw Pagoda one of the most venerated pagodas
in Myanmar; Shwetharlyaung the most life like reclining Buddha
images.
Return to Yangon. Shopping at Bogyoke Aung San (Scott) Market.
(L) Afternoon check out from hotel and transfer to Yangon Airport
for departure flight.
