
Shwedagon Pagoda |
Day 1. Yangon
Meet on arrival at Yangon Airport. Welcome by our tour guide and transfer
to hotel. Sightseeing tour include down town city centre and visit
to the massive Shwedagon Pagoda, one of the wonders of the
world for its religious significance, artistic beauty and its
association with Myanmar culture. Golden dome rises 98 meters above
its base and covered with over 60 tons of pure gold and Royal Lake
Garden.

Sule Pagoda and City Hall |
Day.2 Yangon
Morning visit to Chauk-Htat-Kyi a colossal reclining
Buddha image; Kaba-Aye Pagoda and Maha-Pasana-Guha Cave,
where Sixth Buddhist Synod took place.
Afternoon visit to the venerated Sule Pagoda in the heart of
the city; shopping at Bogyoke Market for Myanmar souvenirs and shops
where famous Myanmar gems and jewellery are available with a
guarantee of export.
Evening visit to China Town.
Overnight in Yangon.

Mandalay Royal Palace and Moat |
Day 3. Mandalay
After breakfast transfer to Yangon airport and fly to Mandalay.
Mandalay is the last capital of Myanmar kingdom and the heart of
Myanmar art and culture. Visit to Mandalay Royal Palace and
Shwenandaw, (Golden Palace) Monastery, noted for its
exquisite wood carving; Kuthodaw Pagoda, known as the world’s
Biggest Book for its 729 marble slabs of Buddhist scripture. Watch
the sun set from Mandalay Hill, a vantage point for panoramic
view of the city. |

Day 4. Mandalay-Yangon
Morning visit to venerated Mahamuni Pagoda. Proceed to
Amarapura, 11 km south of Mandalay. Maha Gandharyon Monastery;
Bagaya Monastery with a famous collection of Buddha images
and 1.2 kilometers long U Bein wooden Bridge. Drive back to
Mandalay. On the way visit Shwe Inbin Monastery, an excellent
specimen of wood carving. And visit handicrafts; silk weaving,
tapestry, gold-leaf making.
Transfer to Mandalay Airport and fly to Yangon.
